The Little Play Pantry – Safeguarding Children Statement

At The Little Play Pantry, the safety and wellbeing of children is our top priority. While we are not a childcare provider and all children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times, we take safeguarding seriously and commit to providing a safe and supportive environment.

Our commitments:

  • All sessions are supervised by the founder who is Paediatric First Aid trained.

  • Parents or carers must stay on site and supervise their own children.

  • We create a safe environment through risk assessments, clean play equipment, and clear layout.

  • We will report any serious incidents or concerns to the appropriate safeguarding authority if necessary.

What to do if you have a concern:

  • Speak to the session lead (listed at the welcome desk).

  • Concerns will be recorded and treated seriously, sensitively, and promptly.

Photography:

  • Photo permissions are requested via the booking form. No photos will be taken of children without consent.
