The Little Play Pantry is a beautifully curated role play experience for children aged 1–7 and their grown-ups.
Each session invites children into a charming, open-ended world of pretend play. With setups like a mini market stall, play kitchen, construction zone, vets surgery and more. We use thoughtfully selected, realistic and sensory-rich toys and materials to spark imagination and support child-led play.
Parents and carers are welcome to play alongside their children or simply enjoy a moment of calm nearby, with a warm drink and good company. It’s a space that nurtures children’s creativity, communication, and social skills. All while giving grown-ups a break from the busy pace of everyday life. Whether you’re attending with your first baby or juggling multiple little ones, you’ll find a welcoming space here.
Hi, I’m Hannah, the founder of The Little Play Pantry. After over a decade running a small business creating handmade toys and accessories for babies and young children, I felt a strong pull to do something more community-based that would bring people together and give children a space to play, explore, and thrive.
As a parent myself, I understand how valuable unstructured, imaginative play is not just for children’s development, but also for building connections between families. That’s why I created The Little Play Pantry: a welcoming, role play-inspired playgroup designed to spark creativity in little ones while giving parents a relaxed, friendly space to connect and feel supported.
I’m DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained, so you can feel confident that your children are playing in a safe, nurturing environment.
